"How many local jobs will this project create?"
The Airport has committed to entering into project labor agreements with local unions during construction process which is expected to create more than 1,100 direct jobs. As a result of the proposed HVN expansion, up to 11,000 direct and in-direct jobs will be created - aviation and non-aviation, as described in an airport-commissioned economic impact study for the region.
